wasn't meant like that, otherwise my answer would have sounded far more pissed and I'd not have left a comment about the actual video - don't be so freaking sensitive, please. I don't even claim that he 'got inspired' by the song choice of my movie.
people want their own movies to be seen by as many people as possible, that's why you see linking like I did in almost every movie-thread. plus, if kristi got a problem with this, I'm sure he can speak for himself, one complaint by him and I'll take my link off again
feels like I heard that song before ... oh, yeah. now I remember.
nice intro, the end was a bit too sudden for my taste, music-wise. also you can't read the "WarLock Productions" at all (but maybe that was on purpose?)
too lazy to read through all this again, but iirc: until you left your first comment on the conversation about gaining muscles, nobody was comparing skinny, fat or trained people. we tried to help tve out with some advice from our own experience, which sure was not on-topic, I admit.. everybody would have been fine if you just had had a good laugh about us ridiculous guys and kept your opinion for yourself, but instead ..
.. you asked for a flamewar. if I was you, I'd not be too surprised about answers on a similar random level. but oh well, can't we just stop this and get back on topic, posting face-pics :P
ops, yea.. I forgot to put a +1 or such, but that post was to confirm what you said
you probably have to try and find out what works best for yourself.. for me training each muscle only once per week seems to lead to better results than training them twice (or even three times, as I sometimes did in my first months at gym).. depending on how much time I got, I spread all muscles on 2, 3 or 4 days per week.. but it's important that I train hard enough, for example atm I do 3 exercises for back, additional 2 for biceps, 2 for chest and 2 for triceps.. 4 sets each, at the moment.. also I vary the exercises every now and then, "new" exercises usually lead to aching muscles after the first 1 - 2 workouts (24 hours after the workout I start feeling the pain, another 24h later pain is even heavier and then it starts decreasing again - but basically I feel that my muscles aren't ready for a second workout within one week, when training this hard..they need some rest)
I sure wouldn't have posted this if I was sober right now (which I am not ) and I still wouldn't call myself big, but keep in mind that I'm 1.90m tall..
not showing my face there, I know.. for one reason, so I can still say "what, no way, this guy isn't me!!"
but, the message is that it doesn't take steroids or any other "helpful stuff" to get "big" ... but only a healthy sense of what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat.. also some experience of when to train and how much to train (each muscle).. in 2008 I went to gym 6 times a week, then quit gym for a year and lost 12kg (of muscle mass).. at the moment I'm working out twice a week and I'm almost back at my stats from back then, which shows that you do learn from your mistakes and from what you did right .. so just carry on! (@tve, for example)
it's a matter of taste though .. I've watched some hollywood-like lfs movies with lots of effects and everybody seemed to love them - while I couldn't help it, my reaction was like "nice to watch.. but that's it" .. but I'm sure you could combine your already good camera work and editing skills with great racing scenes - I'm looking forward to see more movies made by you
it lacks of intense racing for me, too.. but the fact that I still watched it to the end means that I somewhat enjoyed it - caused by good camera work, eye-candy and nice synchronisation of clips and music. good stuff, and I say that altough I usually prefer pure racing movies
just two things: I'd try to avoid those shots with (lots of) laggy cars, e.g. 1:19+ .. those lags can really ruin good footage, I noticed that quite often myself, when trying to record scenes - especially of fo8 cars..
the second thing: is it me or is the framerate quite low in parts? I think I noticed that in some of your videos, before.. but it might still be a specific problem with my pc/youtube.
yep that is because of the so called GEMA .. as far as I know it is a company (here in germany) which got a deal with certain record labels and demands money from those who play their songs in public - e.g. radio stations, but also youtube.. as far as I know youtube was even willing to pay money per viewed video with GEMA audio content but they could not agree on a rate.. consequence: youtube blocks all affected videos in here so they (or the uploaders) won't get into trouble -.-
I already mentioned it for my previous movie, but again I love how people like totally different scenes.. but both ones took me quite a while to record and arrange this way, I can tell
thanks, I thought the video will be long enough so I can cover the drift-part of lfs life as well - would have put a few rally sequences in, too, but I did not find proper footage..
it already takes ages to find the skins that are not on lfsworld any longer and cause white cars. you don't believe how often it happens in league replays that after 2 weeks or so that happens with big parts of the cars - because a lot of teams use to have a skin structur like car_teamname,driver,event,round,edition5c,beta or something .. so basically a special skin just for the event - which is taken down after the race. in that case I try to find any other teamskin for that car - if I now started replacing all the lower-resolution skins with high-res ones, I'd spend half of my life browsing through the lfs forum.. and unfortunately I'm a little too busy for that .. so I focus on the actual movie making and only try to avoid white cars.
but I agree, those low-res skins are a pain in the eye, especially when using onboard-cameras or close-up shots :\
